About the Journal

The Journal of Social Science and Humanities is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages (SSHL) at Bangladesh Open University, located in Gazipur, Bangladesh. We publish high-quality, original research articles twice a year (in June and December) focusing on sociology, humanities, languages, and related disciplines. Our mission is to provide an open-access platform under a Creative Commons license for global researchers, academicians, and scholars to share innovative ideas and scholarly communication. The website will serve as our digital portal to manage manuscript submissions, display blind peer-reviewed articles with assigned DOIs and E-ISSNs, and maintain international academic standards.
