No Article Processing Charge

The Journal of Social Science and Humanities (JSSH), School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages (SSHL), Bangladesh Open University, does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC).

There are currently no fees or charges for:

• Manuscript submission;
• Editorial processing;
• Peer review;
• Article acceptance;
• Article publication; or
• Online publication of accepted articles.

All manuscripts are considered for publication solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, methodological soundness, and compliance with the journal’s editorial and publication standards. The absence of publication fees has no influence on editorial decisions.

JSSH is committed to providing an accessible scholarly publishing platform for researchers and academics. Authors should not make any payment to an editor, reviewer, staff member, or any other person in connection with the submission or publication of a manuscript.

Future Changes to Publication Charges

If the journal introduces any publication-related fee in the future, the applicable charges and conditions will be clearly announced on the journal website before such charges are implemented. Any future fee policy will not affect manuscripts already accepted for publication.
